It’s raining and thundering outside, which might be my favorite weather. Brooke’s studio feels warm and safe, like a cocoon. I could hole up in here for a while and recharge my soul. The steps on the side of the school are crooked and being overtaken by rasberry bushes. I looked for ripe berries with each step I took, but it wasn’t until the last step that I found a single, tiny, perfectly ripe berry. It made me happy.Caramie, 26
